The Asher Theatre opens its inaugural season with Myrtle Beach's newest hit show, The Man of a Thousand Voices featuring master impressionist and entertainer James Stephens III. You may have seen him on HBO, Showtime, The Tonight Show or many of his national TV appearances. Stephens has a wide range of voices. One minute he's Chris Rock and Lil Wayne, and the next moment he's Bill Clinton and Ronald Reagan. This triple-threat also plays piano like Duke Ellington, trumpet like Louis Armstrong, dances like Sammy Davis Jr. and sings like everybody! He's a must see!
Back by popular demand to Myrtle Beach! The show is a spectacular celebration of Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons, and takes the audience on a nostalgic musical journey through the career of one of the biggest selling groups of all times. From the back street studio in New Jersey where it all began, this vibrant production includes all of the Four Seasons greatest hits including Sherry, Rag Dolls, Big Girls Don't Cry, Walk Like a Man and so much more! Hot Jersey Nights has smashed box office records across the US, Canada, and Europe and is proving to be one of the most successful touring shows of all time.
During the holiday season, Stephens will take his one-man comedy and music show to the next level and perform Holiday Classics like "The Christmas Song" as Nat King Cole, "The First Noel" as Elvis, along with commercial elements such as Drake's version of "Jingle Bells". The show may also include guest appearances from his celebrity friends including renowned jazz artist Margo Le Duc, and Louis Price, the former lead singer of the Temptations.
